NEW YORK, NY – March 13, 2018 – Metropolitan Partners Group (“Metropolitan”), an alternative investment advisory firm, today announced that four new investment professionals have joined the firm. Aryea Aranoff, Maggie Mou, Jade Lee and Billy Allen have joined Metropolitan in various roles on the investment team, and will be responsible for enhancing the firm’s investment process, uncovering more investment opportunities and expanding the firm’s deal pipeline.

Aryea Aranoff joins Metropolitan as a Senior Associate, where he will focus on the firm’s deal execution. Mr. Aranoff most recently served as the Chief Strategy Officer for Laurel Road, previously DRB Student Loan. In this role, he advised on and executed product strategies and growth opportunities for the company. Prior to that, he worked as a Strategy Consultant at McKinsey & Co. in the company’s Financial Services Group. Mr. Aranoff earned his M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and his B.A. from Columbia University.
Maggie Mou joins Metropolitan as an Associate, where she will focus on the firm’s deal execution and portfolio analytics. Previously, Ms. Mou was an Associate at Morgan Stanley within the company’s Transportation and Infrastructure Division. Working out of both London and Hong Kong, she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and debt & equity financings. Ms. Mou graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a B.A. in economics.
Jade Lee joins Metropolitan as an Analyst, where she will focus on supporting the investment team’s deal execution and portfolio analytics. Ms. Lee most recently served as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citigroup within its Financial Strategy and Solutions Group. She earned her B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business with concentrations in finance and actuarial science.
Billy Allen also joins Metropolitan as an Analyst, where he will focus on supporting the investment team’s deal execution and portfolio analytics. Previously, Mr. Allen was a Consultant for Wicked Start Innovation, an incubator for emerging food and beverage ventures. He graduated from the University of North Carolina with a B.A. in economics.
