Adrian Blumfield

Since 2008, Adrian Blumfield has been on Metropolitan’s Investment Committee. Adrian holds multiple leadership roles at Metropolitan, contributing to business development, investment due diligence, firm management, portfolio oversight, and compliance procedures and policies. Prior to cofounding Metropolitan, Adrian was the Head of Strategic Planning for the Man Group PLC, as well as the Head of Business Development for North American operations. Adrian earned an M.B.A. from London Business School and an M.A. in Natural Sciences (Physics) from Downing College, Cambridge, England.

Julian Weldon

General Counsel

Julian Weldon currently serves as the General Counsel of Metropolitan Partners Group. Julian has over 27 years of experience in legal and credit markets ranging from portfolio level investments to strategic investor and operating partner relationships, financings and product development. Prior to joining Metropolitan, Julian spent over seven years as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at CIFC and six years at Garrison Investment Group also as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Julian began his career at Allen & Overy LLP in New York and London. Julian holds a L.L.B. in Law from the University of East Anglia, England, is qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and is admitted to the New York Bar.

Paul K. Lisiak

Managing Partner & Chief Investment Officer Paul Lisiak founded Metropolitan Partners Group in 2008 and serves as its Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer. Paul oversees the firm’s investment strategy and execution, leads the firm’s sourcing & research efforts and co-manages the firm’s growth. At Metropolitan, Paul has completed over 150 transactions and deployed over $2.4 billion of capital. Before founding Metropolitan Ventures with the backing of the Man Group, Paul began his career at Lazard Asset Management. Paul graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and was an English-Speaking Union Fellow.
