Daniel Leger

Senior Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations and Marketing

Daniel Leger is Senior Managing Director, Head of Investor Relations and Marketing at Metropolitan Partners Group. Prior to joining Metropolitan, he was Managing Director, Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at MGG Investment Group, a $6.3 billion private lending firm in New York. Over his 23-year career, he has held senior asset raising roles at Akre Capital Management in Virginia, a $15B private partnership and mutual fund management company; Geosphere Capital, a $1.4 billion hedge fund; and Steel Partners, a $5 billion global activist manager. Daniel began his career in asset management at BRI Partners, a venture capital firm and joint venture with Mesirow Financial that seeded hedge funds, helping grow their collective assets to $5 billion. Prior to entering the asset management business, he spent several years in academia and holds a Ph.D. in political philosophy and international relations from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Daniel received his BA from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Before joining Metropolitan, she was a Strategy & Operations professional at iCapital and Deep 6 AI, focused on strategy, capital raising, and supporting business operations. Prior to that, she began her career at Morgan Stanley. Maithili holds a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Rutgers University. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors as VP of Programming for the United Women in Business Foundation (UWIB), a non-profit organization.

His responsibilities include oversight of existing credit investments through ongoing examination of key credit metrics and continual interactions with management on attaining strategic and operational milestones. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2024, Jack was an Investment Banking Associate at H.C. Wainwright where he focused on executing equity, debt, and M&A transactions for healthcare companies. Prior to H.C. Wainwright, Jack worked in operational strategy consulting at EY. Jack was a Presidential Scholar and received a B.A. in Economics from George Washington University.

Brandon Perdue is an Associate at Metropolitan Partners Group. His responsibilities include managing a portfolio of private credit investments across different sectors through rigorous modeling and ongoing evaluation of underlying performance. Prior to joining Metropolitan, Brandon worked as an Associate with Neuberger Berman where he was responsible for providing credit coverage for a multi-billion portfolio of private debt instruments. Previously, Brandon was a Senior Associate at KPMG Strategy. Brandon graduated Summa Cum Laude from The University of Alabama’s Culverhouse College of Business where he received a B.S. in Accounting and later, a Master’s in Finance. Brandon is a registered CPA in NY and GA.

Previously, Alex was a Program Manager at LivePerson as well as an investment banker at Lazard and Cascadia Capital. Alex received a B.S. in Finance and Economic Consulting from Indiana University.

Adam Weber

Principal

Adam Weber is a Principal at Metropolitan. His responsibilities include deal origination, underwriting and execution. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2024, Adam was a Partner at CrowdOut Capital LLC, a lower middle market alternative investment company. During his seven-year career at CrowdOut, Adam led the underwriting and execution efforts that included closing forty debt and private equity transactions totaling around $800 million. Adam also led several in-court and out-of-court restructurings and workouts. Before joining CrowdOut, Adam held operational and strategic finance roles at two technology companies in Central Texas. Adam began his finance career at Sandler O’Neill + Partners in New York, focused on mergers, acquisitions, and equity raises for banks and thrifts. Adam graduated cum laude from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies.
