Adam Weber

Principal

Adam Weber is a Principal at Metropolitan. His responsibilities include deal origination, underwriting and execution. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2024, Adam was a Partner at CrowdOut Capital LLC, a lower middle market alternative investment company. During his seven-year career at CrowdOut, Adam led the underwriting and execution efforts that included closing forty debt and private equity transactions totaling around $800 million. Adam also led several in-court and out-of-court restructurings and workouts. Before joining CrowdOut, Adam held operational and strategic finance roles at two technology companies in Central Texas. Adam began his finance career at Sandler O’Neill + Partners in New York, focused on mergers, acquisitions, and equity raises for banks and thrifts. Adam graduated cum laude from Connecticut College with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies.

Jake Barrett is a Senior Associate at Metropolitan. His responsibilities include deal execution and portfolio analytics. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2024, Jake was an Investment Professional at Värde Partners, an alternative investment firm where he was a member of their Financial Services and Diversified Private Credit team. Previously, Jake was an Associate at Neptune Financial on their Private Credit team. Jake received a B.S. in Business and Economics with a minor in Mathematics from St. Lawrence University.

Wilmer Cerda

Vice President

Wilmer Cerda is a Vice President at Metropolitan. His responsibilities include the management, workout, and ongoing evaluation of the firm’s portfolio of assets. Prior to joining Metropolitan, Wilmer advised companies on financial restructurings and operational turnarounds as part of AlixPartners’ corporate restructuring practice. Wilmer earned his MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and holds a B.S. from Columbia University.

Chris Dolan is an Associate at Metropolitan. His responsibilities include deal execution and portfolio analytics. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2023, Chris was a Vice President at Johnsen Fretty & Company, a media-focused investment bank where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and debt and equity financings. Previously, Chris was a Supply and Trading Associate at ExxonMobil. Chris received a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from the Purdue University.

Aaron Dalal

Aaron Dalal

Associate

Aaron Dalal is an Associate at Metropolitan Partners Group. His responsibilities include asset management and evaluation of existing investments. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2023, Aaron was an Analyst with S&P Global Ratings where he focused on ground-up credit risk analysis and monitoring of various obligors in the energy sector. Aaron received a B.A. in Economics and Master’s of Applied Data Science from University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.

George Alifragis

Senior Vice President, Operating Expert Network

George Alifragis is a Senior Vice President at Metropolitan, where he is responsible for curating, managing, and scaling our Operating Expert network. George began his career at Bell Canada, where he dedicated over 12 years to increasingly responsible management and executive roles. More recently, George served in executive capacities at Sryas as COO and Altima Telecom as Chief Customer and Innovation Officer. Presently, he serves on the Executive Board as Chief Innovation Officer at the Cyber Security Global Alliance and is a member of the Forbes Business Council.

Michael A Chaladoff

Michael A Chaladoff

Managing Director, Head of Asset Management

Michael Chaladoff, Managing Director, serves as the Head of Asset Management for Metropolitan Partners Group where he brings more than 35 years of operational and commercial experience to the firm. Michael’s Asset Management responsibilities include the monitoring and ongoing evaluation of the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Metropolitan, Michael ran a successful consulting firm whose clients included, among others, The Dalio Family Office. He was also a Senior financial executive at Bridgewater Associates for over 6 years where he was Head of Finance for the company’s two technology departments. He has served as CFO for a variety of firms ranging from technology start-ups to a multibillion-dollar Investment Advisor. In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors of several firms in the U.S. and in Europe. Michael graduated from Northeastern University D’Amore-McKim School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Richard Lin

Richard Lin

Managing Director

Richard Lin is a Managing Director at Metropolitan Partners Group Management having joined in 2013. Richard’s investment responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating and executing deals within Metropolitan’s investment strategy. SourcePass and Upstack are Richards’ notable deals. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2013, Richard was an investment professional at Black Diamond Capital Management and GSC Group in their special situation private equity practice. Prior to that, Richard was an investment banker at Bank of America. Richard graduated cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Finance and Accounting.

Max Segal is a Principal at Metropolitan. His responsibilities include deal execution and portfolio analytics. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2019, Max was an Investment Banking Analyst at Pursuit Advisory, a TMT-focused merchant bank where he advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and debt and equity financings. Previously, Max was an Equity Research Analyst at Nomura. Max received a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Vice President

Kevin O’Block is a Vice President at Metropolitan. His responsibilities include monitoring and ongoing evaluation of the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2013, Kevin worked for McKinsey & Co. performing sales and performance analysis out of the company’s Boston office. He received a B.A. in English with a minor in Economics from Boston College.
