Daniel Leger

Daniel oversees investor relations, marketing, and communications for the firm. He brings over 23 years of senior asset raising experience, having previously served as Managing Director, Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at MGG Investment Group, a $6.3B private lending firm. Throughout his career, Daniel has held senior roles at Akre Capital Management, a $15B private partnership and mutual fund management company; Geosphere Capital, a $1.4B hedge fund; and Steel Partners, a $5B global activist manager. He began his career in asset management at BRI Partners, a venture capital firm and joint venture with Mesirow Financial, where he helped grow collective assets to $5B through hedge fund seeding strategies. Prior to entering asset management, Daniel spent several years in academia. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Philosophy and International Relations from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
